FESCUE

With the proper care, Fescue can be the perfect cool season turf. Fescue will grow better in shady areas with limited sunlight, and watering this grass type should only be done weekly during very warm temperatures, at just 1 inch per week. Overwatering and overfertiziling will almost always result in a diseased lawn.

Keeping Fescue at a taller length than other grass types is preferred. Keeping it at 2.0 to 3.5 inches helps to maintain a healthy color, but be sure to leave the clippings behind. Fescue usually requires overseeding in the Fall to help keep your lawn thick and full of growth.

Seven (7) treatments are offered annually for Fescue grass.
