Bermuda
Services for Your Bermuda Lawn.
BERMUDA
Bermuda is a warm season turf that becomes dormant in the Winter and greens-up in the Spring. It generally falls into two different categories: common or hybrid bermuda. Hybrid bermuda will most likely be sod, and both categories thrive in full sunlight.
There are many different methods on how to cut bermuda grass. To keep mowing stress to a minimum, never mow more than 1/3 of the blade off. We recommend mowing weekly, using a sharp mowing blade, and keeping the height at .75 to 2 inches tall. Watering the lawn between the hours of 5am and 7am will help in reducing the chance of fungus.Â
To assist in keeping your Bermuda lawn looking its best, we offer eight (8) treatments throughout the year.Â
